    i see option in scanner has anyone succesfully flash dme through autel or should i go through bmw  website also may need to flash  frm module and i didnt notice option for that when in programming through autel

     DON'T do it im still waiting for them to fix a  2008 320d which now has screwed up coding software for 5 months.... unless you want your customer on your back use a proper BMW coding tool...

     you can flash a used DME  but not with maxisys you will need winfkp/tool32 or something similar some of them you can just swap the eprom of the board

     when i flashed the coding i used the maxisys tool and it converted it from UK spec(radio) to japan and still cant get it right..

       Don't use the maxisys, It screwed up a DME for me. I ended up using my cardaq  j2534 and BMW ISTA/P to correct what autel screwed up.
